MORE POWERS TO VOTERS RATHER THAN OTHER ALTERNATES.

Global society believing in Govt of the people, by the people, for the people looks forward for more powers to the voters than to commissions and committees to curb corruption.
LOKPAL bill if given sharp teeth- no guarantee it will not tear off innocent people and join hands with proficient corrupts.

If some of the ministers can be corrupt won't the person/persons empowered by the LOKPAL bill divulge in corruption? Where will be the end of constituting more and more committees over the previous committees formed?
LOKPAL bill is no answer to curb corruption. There are other democratic ways also.
Speeches and powerful pen of the religious, political and influential journalist can transform a person to be a pious and dutiful person who can truly serve the society.
So far as democracy is concerned it demands a real freedom.  Change the outdated system of elections. Voters should not be under compulsion to choose a less corrupt or a candidate with fewer faults. He should be free to reject all if not found fit to be a part of government.
If the majority of the people reject the candidates the political parties should propose the name of others.
But…., a big but.., a very big but there is no provision for a negative vote, rejecting all the candidates. If the voter finds none of the candidates is worthy to be a part of government who is ultimately responsible to provide basic needs of life and hence happiness voters should be empowered to call back the candidate if he deceives the faith of majority of the voters.
Voting process should also be less expensive. Minimum expenditure by the election commission as well as by the candidate should be enforced.
ONLY THEN THE DEMOCRACY, THE REAL DEMOCRACY WILL BE PUSHING ITS WAY AHEAD AND THE OPPONENTS OF VARIOUS PARTIES WILL ENSURE AND STICK TO THE REAL SERVICE TOWARDS THE SOCIETY AND STOP THE POLITICS OF Aak-thoo-- Aak-thoo (POLITICS OF SPITTING ON OPPONENTS).
